            Career and memberships

            From May 2009 to April 2024, Patrick Santer has been a member of the Council of State of Luxembourg (Conseil d’Etat du Luxembourg). He was Vice-President of the Council of State from 2018 to 2024 and he has chaired the committee on economic affairs and finance of the Council of State. 

            Member of Luxembourg Parliament from October 1999 until March 2009.

            Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1995.

            Maîtrise en droit from the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg (France).
